EL MAC AT ARTBASEL
VOX HUMANA is a program carefully curated by the online publication and arts organization L.A MACHINE. Celebrating the enduring nature of graffiti art and the central relevance of L.A artists on the global art panorama, the program consists of selected live art happenings. The core team: Mear One, Kofie, Retna and El Mac. Some of the happenings included this year edition of Los Angeles Art Show and the Cochella Music Festival. But what made a major break trough was the inclusion of the program at this year’s ArtBasel (Switzerland) the world’s premier international art show for modern and contemporary works. The artists were invited to paint live at the entrance on the VOLTA SHOW, one of the most prestigious satellite exhibitions.
The impressive work resulting from the show stands as an affirmation of the unique visual language of L.A street artists.
